Safety
This course is ideal introduction to OSHA policies, procedures and standards as well as general industry safety and health principles covered in OSHA Act Part 1910. Topics include Walking and Working Surfaces, emergency egress, fire protection, electrical safety, flammable and combustible liquids, Personal Protective Equipment, machine guards, hazard communication, industrial hygiene, and bloodborne pathogens.
Objectives (Participants will be able to:)
1. Demonstrate knowledge of blood borne pathogens
2. Demonstrate of personal protective equipment
3. Write Job Safety Analysis reports
4. Use fall protection at well site
5. Recognize the hazards of H2S, identify H2S placards, and follow procedures when in H2S zones
6. Identify pinch points
7. Identify confined spaces take appropriate actions
8. Identify hot work requirements, complete hot work permitting requirements
9. Complete first aid/CPR training

This course focuses on spill prevention. Topics include control and containment and should an spill event occur provide countermeasures by identifying potential hazards, evaluating engineering controls and containment, work practices, administrative reporting, medical management, training , and disposal.

3. Identify the skills required for spill control of industrial materials
4. Identify physical and health hazards of energy industry chemicals and materials

Course will include classroom learning as well as hands-on driving practice on our training course, at our well site, on the range, in urban, and highway driving settings. Topics include safety inspections, shifting and braking skills, General Knowledge, Air Brakes, and Combination Vehicle, as well as Tanker, Doubles/Triples, and Hazmat endorsements. Also covered are hours of service, weight and balance, vehicle out-of-service, tire chain installation, adjusting air brakes and fire extinguisher training.
Objectives (Participants will be able to:)
1. Demonstrate proficiency driving a truck in rural, urban, job site, and highway settings
2. Demonstrate proficiency driving Combination Vehicle, as well as Tanker, Doubles/Triples
3. Perform safety inspections
4. Demonstrate shifting and braking skills
5. Demonstrate comprehension of vehicle knowledge, hours of service, weight and balance, and vehicle out-of-service
6. Complete Air Brakes adjustment
7. Complete testing requirements for Hazmat endorsements
8. Install tire chains
9. Demonstrate proficiency using fire extinguishers
Oilfield Driving & Navigation
This course is an ideal add-on for anyone who drives onto a well site. Topics include layout of a well site with the associated flow lines, surface equipment, wellhead, and tanks. Special emphasis is placed on the hazards associated with entering, leaving, and backing on the well site.
Objectives (Participants will be able to:)
1. Demonstrate knowledge of well site fluid flow from the wellhead to tanks or custody transfer point
2. Demonstrate proficiency driving a truck onto and leaving a well site
3. Demonstrate proficiency backing up to a tank
4. Perform safety inspections
5. Install tire chains
6. Demonstrate proficiency using fire extinguishers
